X-spam for SMTP 5.5a User and Mail Restriction

Postby pkalog » Tue Apr 29, 2008 6:44 pm

We have a problem with X-spam for SMTP User and Mail Restriction.
if i add a user in the Do No accept Mail from List int the Restrictions From users Tab i recieve messages from that user normally.
If i add the whole domain for that user it rejects the messages.
For example:
if i add user@domain.com the mail is recieved.
if a add *@domain.com the mail is rejected.

any ideas ?

Is it rejecting mails from that perticular user or from the whole domain itself.

If you could be specific we could be of much help to you.

i want to reject mails from an patricular user,
but when i add the user in the list (user@domain.com)
the user can send messages normally (he should not have because i added him to the list)
If i added the whole domain it blocks all messages from that domain.

Is it possible to block messages ONLY from a particular user ?

Certainely it should work with username..... if it is working with domain name with wildcard. If you allow can we connect to your system and check remotely? Or send us debug if can not provide connection

Thanks
