Yes in Mailscan for Exchange if any user does not want to use Mailscan's SMTP then he can simply disable it by doing following changes in Mailscan.ini from mailscan folder
SmtpServerEnabled=1 change the value to 0 Save the file and restart the Mailscan service once.
