Boot Secor Virus not Removed shows in D Drive

Postby dattesh » Thu Jan 24, 2008 3:26 pm

Dear all,

I found comman error in Corporate & OEM, when shedule scanning going on Virus Error found in D Drive & it shows Virus Found In Boot Sector.... Action : Virus not removed, Virus characters in Chinese langauge.

It could be removed only in safemode with Latest MWAV & have to install new version 9.0.742.

Same error found in Nadiad, same in Vadodara & Vapi, Daman. All these users having old version & Virus not shown after replace version & ran latest Mwav.

Is it bug or error in Escan Older Versions? It not shown with other Antivirus. :(

Please confirm if the MWAV ver was prior to 9.6.8. If yes download the latest MWAV ver 9.6.8 and execute the same. Ensure that latest eScan Updates is available and let us know your feedback
