I have eScan V10 installed on quite a number of Windows 2003 and 2000 servers. In all the servers, I have occasionally noticed that avpmapp runs at 99% CPU and slows the server to a crawl. Why is this happening?

Please take the latest updates of 31st July and check again.
Once the updates are latest reboot the server once.

What updates? I'm already running 466 and that is the latest update from your website, unless you have not announced it. Just ran MW Download Manager 5 mins ago and it still downloaded the 466 patch which is the same that I have been running since the day I setup this server 3 weeks ago.
I have nothing but problems after problems since purchasing and migrating eScan a month ago. If this forum can't help me with issues like these, what hope do I have by going to my local vendor?
I've done my part to search the forums before asking questions but I'm not getting answers.

Updated: avpmapp just stopped 4 of my servers from working. 2 Windows 2003 and 2 Windows 2000. These are my production servers and were all rendered useless when avpmapp.exe runs at 100% of CPU.
Now it has gone critical as I could not start one of my servers are avpmapp will run 100% at startup, making the server useless as I cannot even uninstall eScan since nothing will response after startup.
So much for 24x7 support as there is no response even in your MSN. It's logged on but nobody's home.

Finally managed to chat with somebody on MSN but after referring the person to this topic, Microworld MSN support logged off. I guess I'm not going to get anymore help. I might as well go home since it's a Friday night.

Ah... good. I've tried that on the 31st itself after Varghese replied but it was still not available yet. I just downloaded it and will be installing it on 7 servers now.

It is still not working. My Windows 2003 email server is still unresponsive everyday with the 493 patch. CPU goes 100% and email server stops responding.

Please do the following:
Please open the eScan Protection Center
Under File Antivirus, click on "Settings"
Then click on the "Options" tab
Under the feature "Limit file size to (Kb)
Change that value from 1024 to 2048
Click on Apply and OK.
Please post us your feedback.
