I had a call from a (not yet) customer regarding the deactivted monitor-issue.
As far as I got it, they are using the the eScan Professional Edition, Build 9.something.
After downloading and applying avpatch.exe, the monitor seems to have been active again for a while, but when the user returned to his machine after having applied the patch to other machines, it was inactive again.
All I could do was to suggest to make sure that license- and activation-code are available, uninstall the current installationwith revo uninstaller (in order to also get rid of obsolete registry-entries and directories and then reinstall and reactivate.
Is there any better and more sensible solution out there somewhere?
Best regards
Martin
