After installing eScan windows asking for password.

If you have install eScan in WinXP it ask for user name & password for accessing share drive.
But there is no password at all .

SOLUTION
Please follow this step to resolve this issue:

1) First you have to enable a feature in winXP:
Go to Control Panel>>>> Local security policy in administrative tools.>>>> Under local settings select security options. Search for "Network access :Let Everyone permissions apply to anonymous users" and Enable >>>> Apply >>>>OK

2)Go To control panel >>>> Network and Internet Connections >>>> Run Network Setup Wizard >>>> Next >>>> Next >>>> Select Other >>>> Next >>>> Select turn on file & printer sharing >>>>Next >>>> Finish.

3 ) Please disable winxp firewall,
Right click on network places >>>>Properties >>>> Right click the LAN connection>>>>Properties >>>> Advance >>>>Setting>>>> Uncheck or disable firewall for this connection.

This will resolve your problem
