Spyware Protect 2009

Hi,

I've had two customers now who have become infected with this adware/malware while running eScan.
How does this get into the system?
What are best practices to remove? Even running the mwav, turning off system restore and clearing all temp internet files,and rebooting, the malware returns.

Please run mwav with the /kill parameter. Select Memory and Scan the system. Once the scan is complete, a file Pinfect.zip will be created in
My Documents or %programFiles%\escan\infected folder.

Send this file to samples@mwti.net. Any new infection will be cleared once we get this file.
