This has been resolved now in the latest updates of eScan and MailScan.
You just have to download the latest updates from the internet by following the below procedure:
Right-click on "e" icon displayed on the taskbar and then click on "Download eScan update"
Once, the updates are downloaded properly, then a pop-up will be displayed on the 'e' icon saying that the database has been updated.
If the Operating System is Windows Vista, then you have to restart the pc once.
For eScan Corporate users, please download the latest updates on eScan server first and then the client will download the updates from the server.
For those who are having MailScan version 5.6 installed, please download the latest update and then restart the MailScan Service.
Follow the below procedure to restart the MailScan Service:
Click on "Start" - "Run" and type services.msc and press Enter
Search for MailScan service and right-click on it and click on Restart.
