Problem : Unable to Bind the port 2001

Solution : Download the patch "winsockxpfix" from the link below & run it in your system.

Link : http://old.www.iup.edu/house/resnet/WinsockXPFix.exe

If the same problem persist. Then copy the file “tcpip.sys” from the location “C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers” from any working system & paste it into same location of problematic system & run the "winsockxpfix" again.

NOTE : Please note down the IP address before running the "winsockxpfix"

If eScan is installed you can use winsbak2.reg saved in %windir% Directory to restore winsock layer.

Also check if mswsock.dll file is present in the C:\windows\system32 folder. If not paste mswsock.dll file from another machine to the problematic machine.
