Hi,
I have an error popping up on client workstations. It just started to happen in the last week. They've had eScan installed for 8 months now.
The error says: eScan Client Update
No arguement for format '%s'
They are running eScan Corp 9.0.779.225
Thanks!

1)First you need to run espatch1.exe(1.0.0.233) in both machine escan server & escan client machine.
2)Please make sure your escan server is register or not, if not please register your escan server & also deploy escan License from Escan server.
3)Then update all escan client from escan server.
This will resolve your problem.

i have a client running escan AV and eScan Corporate on the same network, i want to configure the escan AV to get updated from the escan Corporate server (eServ), how do i configure that?
i have tried the network option in alternate download settings on the machines running escan av using the below parameters:
"\\eServ ip\c\pub\update"
the error it was displaying is "invalid UNC path specified in Eupdated.ini"

Hello,
Please check the below condition:
1) Try to access the the path define in the UNC settings i.e.
\\eServ ip\c\pub\update
from the Start ==> Run and check if you can access the folder.

You may enter the UNC path in 2 different ways:
Method 1:
\\ip address of escan server\escanupd$
escanupd$ -is the shared name assigned by eScan automatically for
c:\pub\update folder
(For example: \\192.168.0.1\escanupd$)
Method 2:
\\pc-name\escanupd$
(For example: \\abc\escanupd$)
