F Backup o a option in EMC

There has to option to Enable or disable FBACKUP in rules deploy.

Dear Romil,

As per our telecom you are using old version of eScan.

Kindly download latest version of eScan from below link.
http://www.microworldsystems.com/downlo ... n2ksmk.exe

Once you install latest version of eScan you will get fbackup feature enable in GUI.

In newer version you can deploy fBackup feature.

Hello Romil,


As per our telecon, Kindly follow below steps to disable F Backup feture.

Go to escan management console - Services - Deploy Rule Sets - Create New Policy. Give name to policy.
Then Put tick mark on File Antivirus tab & then click on edit settings (...) button.
In next window click on settings Select Radio button of Option
Remove check from Enable Auto Backup.

In that Select All Clients tab if you want to Disable F Backup to all the clients or click on User Defined tab & select particular user, you want to Disable F Backup & then click on Deploy tab. It will show you deploy successfully window.
After that take updates from client’s machine, so the above policy will deploy to the clients.

Hi,

I have checked but after pushing policy and updating client Fbackup still runs i have to go manually un-tick the Fbackup option in client settings.
