Postby dattesh » Fri Nov 28, 2008 1:38 pm

Dear Mathew,

Is that way to delete forcefully any file name Or extension with MWAV/Escan.

For example, in a network marioforever.exe found, it may be virus, but users wants to delete forcefully.

As Mwav is a anti virus toolkit this option would not be possible as the file mentioned by you could be deleted but the relating files to that would not be deleted.

It is advisable to do full scan and remove all components.

Well as of now there is no way to regard a file as virus and delete it forcefully. Why dont you just upload the file and send the samples to us so that if indeed its a virus we could add the signatures to the updates.
