Hello Sir,
Customers want to know how to backup and restore the policy settings in EMC.
He is using eScan Corp 10.0.977.491.
Because he wants to change his eScan server's hardware, he wants backup all the policy settings and restore them in the new server.

Hi Sidney,

As of now,if the client wants to deploy the same policies he will need to MANUALLY do these changes.
1) Copy older "\PUB\DEPLOY\" folder from the older server to new one on the same location.
2) Copy older "\PUB\POLICY\" folder from the older server to new one on the same location.
3) Copy the files starting to "G0" from "\PUB\UPDATE\" folder from older server to new one on the same location.

This will deploy the policies from the new server to all the clients in updates.
But after doing this,you will not be able to manually see/edit these policies deployed from the new server.

We will conveyed the message to the development team to encorporate this kind of feature if possible in new EMC
and we will notify you once its done.
