escan folder size

What is the normal size of escan folder ?

On one system escan corporate + emc the folder make 2.2 GB
On other system with escan AV the folder make 880 mb

I thinks it's to big ?

A normal eScan installation should be 150MB ~ 200MB for new installation and latest updates.

Some folders may grow up after using eScan for some days.
1.LOG
2.HAM
3.QUARANT
4.SPOOLOUT

Please check these folders and see how many MB in these folders.

Maybe you have many log files if you use eScan for a long time.And you scaned your system everyday.

And maybe you use e-Mail filter, and got many Spam everyday. If you do not delete your quarantine mails, they store in the QUARANT folder, and may be very large.

If your eScan folder size big for others, maybe something wrong.
You may tell us which folder in eScan get big size and check what's make this.

right the log folder make more than 500 mb

exist any option to compress this.

I thinks txt log file from more than 50MB is to much :wink:

I don't know any option for compress log files.
May be we can ask this function for next version..
