In many places, where e scan corporate is installed in 3 tier architecture,
(Eg.Main server is updating Child servers & child servers are updating clients)
Please follow these steps to solve the issue of updates from Main server to child server.

Open Eupdate.ini [ Location of eupdate.ini file rootdrive\program files\escan\ ]

1] Open eupdate.ini and search for the following entry DoNotAllowDownload=
and enter the below value in front of the above entry httpsite.txt,ftpsites.txt

Once you modify your entire line look like this

DoNotAllowDownload=httpsite.txt,ftpsites.txt

Make sure you type the file name correctly.

2] Then in the same file ( eupdate.ini ) find for the following entries

SourceURL=
HTTPHost=
FTPHost=

If you find any http:// sites in front of this pls remove it and put the parent server IP Address.

3] Then find for FTPport=21 and change the value to FTPport=2021 save the file and close it

4] Then open httpsite.txt file

You will find below entries in it
http://www.microworldsystems.com/pub/update
http://download1.mwti.net/pub/update
http://update3.mwti.net/pub/update
http://update4.mwti.net/pub/update
http://update5.mwti.net/pub/update
http://update6.mwti.net/pub/update

remove all those entries and put parent server IP instead.

5] Then open ftpsites.txt file ,You will find below entries in it

ftp.microworldsystems.com /pub/update anonymous password
update.mailscan.info /pub/update anonymous password

remove all those entries and put parent server IP instead.

6] Right click on e' icon on the taskbar. And click on "eScan updater settings "
Select "Ftp Config " Tab And Then click on Scroll down button of "FTP Download Site :"
and if there any site mention like mentioned below:

ftp.microworldsystems.com
update.mailscan.info

Then remove it manually and put the parent server ip address manually.

Then click on Save button.

This should resolve your problem
