My network is infected with xxx virus how to clean it?

1. Make sure you have escan installed on all the system and escan monitor is on.
2. Make sure you have latest updates.
3. If you are using XP or ME then make sure before disinfection you disable system restore option.
4. Disconnect a computer or local network from the Internet.
5. Disable network sharing or set strong passwords for all shares.
6. Scan all files on all drives on all computers.
7. Restart all disinfected computers.
8. Scan all hard drives on disinfected computers again to make sure that no more infected files are left. If needed, repeat disinfection procedure.
9. Enable network sharing, keep strong share passwords.
10. Reconnect the disinfected computer or local network to the Internet.
